In the massacre of Klågerup, on June 15 1811, 800 Scanian farmers rose with pitchforks against Swedish canons. There was no pardon given on this event, which has never been mentioned in Scanian history books. The cause of the revolt was a combination of social grievances and Scanian freedom seeking factors.
