The Scanian history in a nutshell
Against Danish authorities
|
 |
1043 - 1536
Between 1043 - 1536, the Scanian people revolted twelve
times against their Danish rulers, and formed six times
an autonomous Scanian kingdom. The insurrections of
1524 - 26 and of 1534 - 36 were organised in favour
of the King of the People, Christian the Good, against
the nobility and the Sleswigian Dukes on the Danish
throne.
