BARUMKVINNAN The Barum Woman Barumkvinnan hittades i en grop i Barum, nv om Kristianstad i Skåne. Hon är c:a 7000 år gammal. Nu finns hon på Historiska Museet i Stockholm The Barum Woman was found in a pit in Barum, nw of Kristianstad in Skåne. She is abt. 7000 years old. Now in the Historiska Museet in Stockholm.

Runstenen från Skårby The Runic Stone from Skårby  Denna runsten har stått som förebild för Skånelands vapensymbol - Pantern. Texten lyder: "Kalv och Aute reste denna sten efter Tomme sin broder, som ägde Gudes snabe (kilformat jordområde". . This Runic Stone has served as model for the Scanian symbol, the Griffin. The text reads: "Kalv and Aute raised this stone after efter Tomme his brother, who owned Gudes snabe (a wedge shaped peice of land)".
